The Family Invesment Administration assists people in need by administering a wide range of public assistance programs. Primarily, we help people in crisis. We help city residents access put food on the table through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP); we help people get medical coverage through Medical Assistance (MA); and we help link people to the Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) and programs to help pay their heating bills.
