This dashboard provides information on the number of applicants actively receiving benefits through various Family Investment Administration (FIA) programs, with a breakdown by their residential jurisdictions. It covers multiple FIA programs, including:

  • SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
  • Cash Assistance
  • Medical Assistance
  • Long-Term Care
  • Waiver Programs
Please submit DHS Public Records Requests through this portal: https://marylanddhs.nextrequest.com/

Disclaimer: Information presented above comes from a live data environment, refreshed every 24 hours, and is subject to change.

Note: It is important to keep in mind that the dashboard statistics do NOT include missing/blank/null values for fields where applicable. For example, if we have 310 people total receiving SNAP and only 256 of them have “complete” race data, you will see 256 as your total count for all race categories, not 310. Including missing data inflates any estimate, and decreases its real impact on decision making.

Important: In Maryland, Medicaid provides coverage for approximately 1.8 million people through Maryland Department of Health. The Department of Human Services serves a subset of this 1.8 million population, and the dashboard presents data individuals enrolled in non-MAGI Medicaid, including those receiving Medical Assistance, Long-Term Care, and Waiver services.
