The Federal Government Shutdown
The Trump Administration shut down the federal government on October 1. We received notice that the Trump Administration will not issue SNAP benefits beginning November 1 if the shutdown does not end by the end of this month.
We will continue to process new SNAP applications. Cash benefits including Temporary Disability Assistance Program and Temporary Cash Assistance will still be issued in November, and Medical Assistance Programs are not immediately affected by the shutdown at this time. We encourage you to keep your information up to date and apply at MarylandBenefits.gov to ensure you continue to receive all benefits when the shutdown ends.
This is an evolving situation and we will share more information as it becomes available.

La Administración Trump suspendió el gobierno federal el 1 de octubre. Hemos recibido un aviso de que la Administración Trump no emitirá beneficios de SNAP a partir del 1 de noviembre si el cierre no termina antes de que finalice este mes.
