Designated facilities may install a Safety Infant Device at their own cost, and must register the Safety Infant Device with the Department of Human Services and abide by the standards set forth in Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article §5–641(c)(3). Maryland currently has no approved Infant Safety Devices.
