Volunteer Interest

Maryland’s Citizens Review Boards for Children (CRBC) are Governor-appointed bodies within the Department of Human Services that review child foster care cases for the state. There are Review Boards for each of Maryland’s 24 jurisdictions and CRBC members serve in a volunteer capacity.

As part of the Moore-Miller Administration’s commitment to leaving no child in Maryland behind, the Appointments Office is currently recruiting individuals to serve on CRBC Review Boards across the state. We hope you will recommend somebody—or consider this opportunity yourself—to serve our children!

To qualify CRBC applicants:

  • must be 21 years or older
  • must reside in the jurisdiction that the CRBC of interest serves
  • must pass a background check
  • must be passionate about supporting the welfare and well-being of our children
  • must be able to meet specific CRBC member requirements
  • APPLY NOW or make a recommendation today!
