The Women Legislators of Maryland was established in 1972. It is the oldest women’s legislative caucus in the nation. The Maryland Commission for Women, Women Legislators of Maryland, Executive Alliance, Black Girls Vote, Latinos Unidos and the Maryland Legislative Agenda for Women are forming a coalition to address women’s underrepresentation in the Maryland Senate.
