Harford County FIA works diligently to serve its county residents. Our doors are open every day and walk-ins are always welcome to our county residents and anyone in need of assistance. We’re proud of the work we do and the many people we’ve helped, particularly those seeking employment. We’re excited to share that many of our clients who receive Temporary cash Assistance are able to participate in our agency’s in-person WORK training program for the first time since the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency ended.
Our caring team of workers goes above and beyond their normal duties to respond all year to the needs of our clients. During the winter, FIA staff set up a tree in the lobby filled with donations of hats, gloves, mittens, scarfs, socks, and coats for anyone in need. Most recently, we received a large donation of scholastic books that we’ve been able to share with our customers. We’ve also partnered with Catholic Charities and Harford Community College to assist with new applicants and inquiries about our services and programs.
Whether it’s attending resource fairs, seeking new ways to support the community, or providing assistance to our customers – Harford County FIA is united in making us all stronger together.
