A master of grassroots organizing, Ruth is the director of MomsRising’s powerful “States Moms Force,” a movement centered on deep relational organizing. Here in Maryland, she worked closely with coalition partners to transform advocacy by marshaling parents—and their cape-wearing children—to the state capitol, securing landmark wins for paid sick days, the FAMLI Act, and pregnant worker protections.
