Postpartum Shower on April 16th during Black Maternal Health Week

This event will be an essential space for Black mothers to connect, heal, and access vital postpartum resources. Attendees will benefit from expert-led discussions, hands-on workshops on postpartum care and infant wellness, a resource fair, and relaxation and community bonding opportunities.

Our theme, “Crowned in Resilience, Blooming in Beauty: Celebrating Black Mothers & The Village,” beautifully captures the strength, beauty, and resilience of Black mothers. It also underscores the importance of community support for new mothers. Together, we will create a space where wisdom and resources can be shared and where offers of assistance can flourish.

Who Should Attend: Pregnant and postpartum women
Event Location: Bon Secour Community Works Wednesday, April 16th from 9am – 2pm
