Foster/Adoption Services

Focuses on recruiting, training, licensing and supporting families who are interested in becoming Foster/Adoptive parents. Services are available for adults who are related to children in foster care and those who are not related.

Adult Protective Services (APS)

Serves persons aged 18 and over who are unable to protect their own interests or are at risk of abuse, neglect and/or exploitation.  Adult Protective Services provides investigative services to protect the health, safety, and welfare of vulnerable adults.

Family Support Services

Assists in the preservation of families and rebuilding of lives to prevent out-of-home placement. Anyone can make a referral. Services are optional for families in the program.

Adult Services (IHAS)

Provides services to the elderly, disabled, ill, handicapped and those who need assistance with daily activities in order to remain in their homes. Includes in-home aide services, housing support for special populations, and social services to adults 18 years and older who are not caring for children.

Child Protection

Screens and investigates reports of child maltreatment and provides services to children found to be abused or neglected.

Public Assistance

Provides access to federal entitlement programs for low income individuals including Food Stamps (SNAP), Medical Assistance and Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA).

Temporary Disability Assistance Program (TDAP)

Provides a state-funded cash assistance program for medical, housing and other services to disabled adults who are ineligible for other cash assistance programs.
